This programme takes you to Prague, the city where Kafka wrote his most unsettling truths, where Kundera found the words for things people had never named, where Mucha turned everyday life into something permanent, and gives you six days to find and build your creative voice.
The sessions move between photography, personal writing, and self-expression. The cohort is small and deliberately diverse. And the city, with its golden light, its layered history, and its particular atmosphere of beauty and strangeness, becomes the canvas for all of it.

WHY PRAGUE
The most literary city in Central Europe Kafka, Kundera, Hášek, Seifert. Prague has produced writers who changed how people think about identity, absurdity, and what it means to be human. That tradition is not just history here. It is in the atmosphere of the city, in the way light falls on the cobblestones, in the particular combination of beauty and strangeness that makes Prague unlike anywhere else.
A city built for seeing Prague is one of the most photogenic cities in the world, not because it was designed that way, but because it survived. The baroque churches, the Art Nouveau facades, the Gothic towers, the river, the hills, every neighbourhood offers something different to look at and a different quality of light to work with.
The right size for six days of real immersion Prague is large enough to feel like a real European capital and small enough to actually know after a week. You will walk everywhere. THE COURSE
The Art of Creative Voice and Authentic Expression, six days of building something that is entirely yours.
This is not a traditional course. Every session is task-based, built around real activities, live challenges, and assignments that use Prague itself as the classroom. You will not sit and listen. You will go out, apply, and come back with something real.
- Photography as visual storytelling — seeing versus looking — Most people look at things. Photographers see them. The difference is not equipment — it is attention, framing, and understanding what a photograph is actually doing. This session teaches you to see before you shoot, and to make every frame a decision rather than an accident.
- Light and composition — The two things that separate a photograph that works from one that does not. Practical, applied, and immediately usable — with Prague’s streets, bridges, and interiors as the workshop.
- Personal essay and memoir writing — How to take a lived experience and give it a shape that other people can follow and feel. The difference between a diary entry and an essay that lands. This is where most participants discover that the story they have been carrying is more interesting than they thought.
- Turning life experience into narrative — The craft of knowing which details to keep, which to cut, and how to build the kind of tension that makes a reader stay. Applied directly to material from your own life — not exercises, not hypotheticals.
- Finding your creative voice — The hardest and most important thing. Not an exercise in imitation — a process of identifying what is genuinely yours: your observations, your register, your way of being in the world. The session that most participants say changes how they think about everything they make afterward.
- Building a six-day creative portfolio — By the end of the programme, every participant leaves with a body of work — photographs and written pieces produced during the six days. Not drafts. Finished pieces that represent what you found here.
THE CITY
Prague pulls you in slowly. By the third day, you will not want to leave.
Summer in Prague is warm, long, and golden. The days stretch late into the evening. The city fills with music from open windows, terraces along the river, and street performers on Charles Bridge. It is, by almost any measure, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and it knows how to be enjoyed.
Must-See in Prague
- Vltava River kayaking — the river that runs through the heart of Prague, with the city on both banks and the castle above. Kayaking it in summer is one of those experiences that stays with you.
Vyšehrad and the city walls — the old fortress south of the city centre, with views across the rooftops and river. A long walk that feels like stepping out of the tourist trail entirely.
- Kafka Museum — the documentary photography walk and writing session take place here. The museum itself is one of the most thoughtfully designed literary spaces in Europe.
- Josefov — the Jewish Quarter — one of the most historically significant neighbourhoods in Central Europe. The old synagogues, the cemetery, and the story of what happened here are impossible to walk through without being affected.
- Malá Strana and the riverside — the neighbourhood below the castle, full of baroque architecture, hidden gardens, and the particular atmosphere that makes Prague feel like it belongs to a different time.
- Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock — the medieval heart of the city. The clock has been marking time here since 1410. Standing in the square at the hour when the figures move is one of those small, completely unrepeatable experiences.
- A riverside gallery opening — the final portfolio showcase takes place at a riverside gallery space during the last evening of the programme. The work produced during the six days, shown properly.
- Vinohrady and Žižkov — the neighbourhoods where Prague actually lives — local restaurants, wine bars, and the kind of evening that starts at eight and ends when it feels right.
- Charles Bridge at dusk — the most photographed bridge in the city, but at dusk, with the castle lit above and the river below, it earns every photograph. The session on light and composition ends here for a reason.

This programme is designed for anyone 25 and above who wants to build their creative voice, whether through writing, photography, or personal expression. No prior experience in either is required. What matters is that you have something to say and you are ready to find how to say it.
None at all. The programme begins from foundational principles and builds progressively. Participants who have never written beyond emails and those who write regularly get equally as much from the six days. Same for photography, phone camera or professional camera, the sessions work for both.
You will stay in a comfortable, centrally located hotel in Prague for 6 nights. Rooms are shared twin, two separate beds, one roommate from the programme cohort. The hotel is chosen for its proximity to programme venues and the city's key areas.
